Prophets, Rabble Rousers and Agitators: A Call to Creative Activism - Friday, August 18 & Saturday, August 19, 2017

On April 16, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr.  wrote a  “Letter From a Birmingham Jail”.  He spoke of the prophets leaving their 8th century BC villages to carry God's word and later St. Paul, the gospel across the Greco Roman world and how he was compelled to carry his “gospel of freedom” beyond his hometown of Atlanta.  “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”. Dr. King truly recognized the “interrelatedness  of all communities and states.”

Chris J. Antal

Friday, August 18, 2017  10 AM  - 4 PM (Lunch Included)

Peacemaking can be difficult work and at times is extremely frustrating. Our society  appears to be in a downward spiral in spite of our good work. Burn out is often the results.  To help us find our way through these difficult times we have asked Reverend Chris J. Antal to facilitate our Kateri Interfaith Retreat and show us ways to care for our souls.
